Berklee College of Music

Berklee College of Music was founded in 1945 in Boston, Massachusetts, on the principle of preparing students for future music careers through the study and practice of contemporary music. Comprised of four departments--Music Technology, Professional Education, Professional Performance, and Professional Writing--Berklee offers 12 undergraduate degrees, including Composition and Music Production and Engineering. Notable alumni include John Mayer, Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks, and Weezer's Rivers Cuomo.
