Case Western Reserve University, founded in 1826 and based in Cleveland, Ohio, is among the nation's top independent research institutions with an endowment of more than $1.4 billion that supports more than 100 interdisciplinary academic and research centers. With more than 4,000 undergraduates and roughly 6,000 graduates, the university offers nearly 200 degree programs through its eight schools and colleges.
